Published ahead of launch. Subscriptions are not open yet. These steps are written from OpenAI's developer-mode guide (developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/developer-mode, as read on 2026-10-02) and will be confirmed against the live service before subscriptions open. Menu names in your app may differ.
Before you start
- Connecting a custom connector needs developer mode, which OpenAI documents for Plus and above.
- Once subscriptions open, you will need a 9to95 subscription and account. The connector signs in to that account; it does not sell anything and shows no prices.
Steps
- Open ChatGPT and go to Settings, then Security and login, and turn on developer mode.
- Add a connector and paste the connector address. It will be published here when subscriptions open.
- Sign in to your existing 9to95 account when asked.
- Start a conversation and ask for a comparison of two retirement plans. ChatGPT interviews you and writes a scenario for the calculator.
